ARTECHOUSE teams up with fuse* once again for a brand new commission in the NYC space. Trust is a data driven, audiovisual exhibition that elaborates on the multiple meanings and implications of the concept of trust.
On a broad level, through data examination it observes how historical events have influenced trust and considers how this can evolve in the future. More specifically, it further uses the data points to examine how the presence or absence of trust can shift the perception of our individual realities.
Step into an immersive data driven world and examine up close ways in which our seemingly personal feelings of trust can affect the entire world, and have far reaching implications.
Using historical and current indicators of trust in our society, such as historical news and economic indexes, fuse* analyzes and artistically translates the levels of this feeling into visuals. The exhibition delves into a conceptual timeline and takes the viewer through three ‘chapters’: Past, based on a historical data archive; Present, using data that is constantly processed to create ever-changing art; and Future, from predictions of trust moving forward. In order to predict future levels of trust, fuse* trained a recurrent neural network (RNN) to make forecasts. The work is then brought to life using ARTECHOUSE’s unprecedented presentation ecosystem composed of high-resolution projection, hyperreal immersive sound technology and custom made software, created to support creative experimentation of today’s artists.

ARTECHOUSE collabora ancora una volta con fuse* per una nuova commissione nello spazio di NYC. Trust è una mostra audiovisiva guidata dai dati che elabora i molteplici significati e implicazioni del concetto di fiducia.
Ad un livello più ampio, attraverso l’esame dei dati, osserva come gli eventi storici abbiano influenzato la fiducia e considera come questa possa evolvere in futuro. Più specificamente, utilizza i dati per esaminare come la presenza o l’assenza di fiducia può spostare la percezione delle nostre realtà individuali.
Entra in un mondo immersivo guidato dai dati ed esamina da vicino i modi in cui i nostri sentimenti di fiducia, apparentemente personali, possono influenzare il mondo intero e avere implicazioni di vasta portata.
Usando indicatori storici e attuali della fiducia nella nostra società, come notizie storiche e indici economici, fuse* analizza e traduce artisticamente i livelli di questo sentimento in immagini. La mostra si addentra in una linea temporale concettuale e conduce lo spettatore attraverso tre “capitoli”: Passato, basato su un archivio di dati storici; Presente, usando i dati che vengono costantemente elaborati per creare un’arte in continua evoluzione; e Futuro, dalle previsioni di fiducia che vanno avanti. Per prevedere i futuri livelli di fiducia, fuse* ha addestrato una rete neurale ricorrente (RNN) per fare previsioni. L’opera viene poi portata in vita utilizzando l’ecosistema di presentazione senza precedenti di ARTECHOUSE, composto da proiezioni ad alta risoluzione, tecnologia sonora immersiva iperreale e software personalizzato, creato per sostenere la sperimentazione creativa degli artisti di oggi.
