Serena Fineschi is among the artist taking part in Ante–Poster. The project, created in collaboration with the graphic design and design studio Multiplo, aims to tell the story of the transformation of the Church of Sant’Agnese in the historic center of the city of Padua through the temporary exhibition of six artist posters. A place that has undergone many transformations over time and that in June will become the new cultural space of the Alberto Peruzzo Foundation.
The project thus starts with a prelude, a “public art” initiative, which is usually conceived and implemented with the intention of being staged in a context accessible to all, often outdoors and with the involvement of the community. This has to do with the desire to return to the community a place that has marked the history of the city and that through contemporary art can come back to life by expressing new meanings.

Serena Fineschi è tra gli artisti che partecipano ad Ante-Poster. Il progetto, realizzato in collaborazione con lo studio di grafica e design Multiplo, si propone di raccontare, attraverso l’esposizione temporanea di sei poster d’artista, la trasformazione della Chiesa di Sant’Agnese, nel centro storico della città di Padova. Un luogo che ha subito molte trasformazioni nel tempo e che a giugno diventerà il nuovo spazio culturale della Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo.
Il progetto parte quindi da un preludio, un’iniziativa di “arte pubblica”, che solitamente viene concepita e realizzata con l’intento di essere messa in scena in un contesto accessibile a tutti, spesso all’aperto e con il coinvolgimento della comunità. Ciò ha a che fare con la volontà di restituire alla comunità un luogo che ha segnato la storia della città e che attraverso l’arte contemporanea può tornare a vivere esprimendo nuovi significati.
