From June 15 to June 18, on the occasion of the Sonar Festival 2022, Quayola will present his installation “Transient” at the Hotel ME Barcelona, as one of the stops of SonarExtra, an itinerary through the heart of Barcelona offered by Sónar during the week of the festival.
Quayola – ‘Transient’ Installation, presented by ME by Meliá is a starting point, the first phase of a project conceived in 2020 by the artist.
In this installation, images and music generated over the last two years in his studio will be projected as infinite loops on three screens simultaneously. Classical minimalism and impressionism will converge with experimental electronica and techno music, with the audience able to move freely through the three–dimensional space, exploring a 100% immersive environment without limits.

Dal 15 al 18 giugno, in occasione del Sonar Festival 2022 (Barcellona, 16 giugno – 18 giugno), Quayola presenterà la sua installazione “Transient” all’Hotel ME Barcelona, come una delle tappe di SonarExtra, un itinerario nel cuore di Barcellona offerto da Sónar durante la settimana del festival.
Quayola – Installazione “Transient”, presentata da ME by Meliá, è un punto di partenza, la prima fase di un progetto concepito nel 2020 dall’artista.
In questa installazione, immagini e musica generate negli ultimi due anni nel suo studio saranno proiettate come loop infiniti su tre schermi simultaneamente. Il minimalismo e l’impressionismo classici convergeranno con l’elettronica sperimentale e la musica techno, con il pubblico che potrà muoversi liberamente nello spazio tridimensionale, esplorando un ambiente immersivo al 100% e senza limiti.
